Stepping into Mengku, one encounters a robust and sprawling village of large households.
Dahuzhai is considered the entrance to Mengku Snow Mountain. Located on a vast area halfway up the mountain, it is a prime example of Mengku large-leaf tea, hence its other name, "Mengku Zhengshan" (True Mountain of Mengku). Dahuzhai tea is renowned for its thick leaves and plump buds. The tea is fragrant and mellow, possessing a powerful yet rich character. The tea aroma is pervasive, and the tea liquor is viscous with a predominantly floral and honey fragrance.
