Bangdong Township in Lincang City has a significant elevation difference, reaching up to 3,000 meters. This tea comes from a region of towering mountains and swirling clouds, hence the beautiful name "Bangdong in the Clouds" and we named it as "Above the Clouds".
Growing amidst the clouds and mist, in ancient forests and rock crevices, the tea trees possess a unique wild mountain charm and rich flavor. Combined with the local sweet spring water used for fermentation, the tea soup is a bright, clear, wine-red color, with a mellow, sweet, and smooth taste.
In autumn and winter, prepare a pot of warming and nourishing Pu-erh tea and enjoy its comforting warmth!
Type : Large-leaf Pu-erh ripe tea
Aroma : Sandalwood, jujube, herbal notes
Taste : Rich, smooth, and with a lingering sweetness
Benefits* : Calms the nerves and aids sleep, relieves gout, nourishes the stomach and improves complexion, lowers blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol.
1) Tea to water ratio: 30:1, meaning approximately 6 grams of tea can be placed in a 180 ml container.
2) Brewing water temperature: Rinse the leaves with a slightly higher water flow to gently agitate and awaken the compressed tea. Then, brew with boiling water to lock in the high temperature and unleash the optimal flavor profile.
3) Brewing method: Pour steadily at a low height to let the water slowly penetrate the thick ripe Pu'er leaves. Cover immediately, and splash boiling water over the exterior of the teapot to maintain a high, even temperature, fully releasing its aged aroma.
4) Brewing time: The first to third infusions should be steeped for about 10-20 seconds. After that, adjust the water temperature and steeping time according to your personal taste.
